Only person whom i shed a tear when they passed. It wasent so much the man but what he represented. When i got older and in the military i sure was let down by sad state of affairs this country truly is. I didnt expect perfection. But i did expect people of strong moral character. I found none of that. I wouldn't give my life for this country nor my sons life. But i would give my life for my son. This country has gone down hill since kennedy was murderd. Not that kennedy was all that. Just a mile stone. When your own country fails to seek justice for the murder of the commander and chief well that says it all. Ww2 was the best generation. And they are dead. I pray our kids learned from thier sacrifice. I think they did. Stop going to war for profit. Feed the world.

True... I've never liked him. He was typecast as a bad guy and did it well... have to give him credit for being a damn good actor to make people actually dislike him just because of a character he portrayed.

"Yep", To this day I still detested Bruce Dern? A great actor, but O what a SOB he played in THE COWBOY'S. By the way the fist landed I'd say the DUKE pulled that punch? Or else Bruce Dern would've gone down and Out For The Count, no Doubt About IT. Oh yeah it was his left Jab, and not his Right Cross or Overhand right like he used in The Alamo scene!!! They say he was a big part of HollyWoods endeavors, and film makers efforts, to make fight sequences look real. REST IN ETERNAL PEACE, DUKE you were one of a Kind. WR. 🇨🇦🇺🇸🇨🇦🇺🇸💓💓💓💓🙏🙏🙏🙏

Apparently, John Wayne was a pioneer of the onscreen punch (filming it from a particular angle meant it looked more authentic), - the Academy Awards seem to have achieved the same overnight with Chris Rock being the recipient - now the voyeurs are leaping all over it for tv ratings and more voyeurs (viewer voyeurs) are spending time watching it, - at least the show may survive??
