Harry Carey, Jr mentioned this in his book! Said he and his mother Olive both instantly recognized it and burst into tears.

I recognize the narration by the one and only James Mason. One of the most distinctive voices ever, and a great actor in his own right!!

Thanks for sharing this intimate story. Duke was a great man and a wonderful role model. I miss him!

John Wayne copied Harry's style the walk and everything Wayne said it himself he would be nothing without Harry.

Duke of America, John Wayne, we miss you very much. They now consider good actors to so many mediocres. God help us. Rip
