The most amazing thing about Terry for me was his resurgence under Mourinho in 2014, at the age of 34 he managed to still prove himself as the best centre back in England whilst leading Chelsea to another BPL win the next season

Apparently he wore #26 because in the old days they used to sit in number order in the dressing room and wearing #26 meant he'd sit next to #25... Zola. JT thought he could learn a lot sitting next to Zola.

Terry is not only the club and englands legend, he is also a symbol of leadership and hardworker and has earned his guard of honour as no other player in epl has contributed as much as john terry, staying only in one club, won all trophies and shown leadership like none other. the English FA have marked him for a fast track coaching role, and he is doing Levels 1 an 2 coaching at the moment. Appears he want to go into management

Kenn Yeah, that's the reason. He said he isn't sure about retiring and might want to play football for one more year. If he does choose to retire, I think we'll give him a youth coach position.
