Airfix battles by modiphius is a fantastic set of rules in my opinion for their 1:72 scale infantry and tanks. Simple and a lot of fun. Scales up well too. I loved it when I've played it. For more accurate wargames obvs go warlord, but thought I'd mention it as its really worth a go. I like the sound of the new tank game.

We had the chap that wrote the rules on the live show a while back - same guy who wrote the new Kingmaker game.

Great interview. Good to hear more of how warlord and airfix are working together...sound positive. Also the tank game sounds a fun idea to give our bolt action tanks a dust off.....more interviews with you and John would great.

John has mentioned on several interviews he would like to do a Borodino epic set. I hope one day this will be a reality. Maybe a kickstarter would be a good approach to assessing future demand for Waterloo expansions.

I am pretty confident they will, the question is when. They don't like to talk about things they have planned more than a few months away it seems.

Really hope you guys do a review of the epic pike and shotte starter. Looks like there is some really interesting and cool stuff on the horizon for it

Any word on what is becoming of Cruel Seas? Skytrex has been doing some much needed stuff for it (especially terrain/lifeboats/new subchasers) and I'm wondering if there are any plans on returning to it for a new edition that will fix a lot of the issues (and typos) of the original?

I would have though John Stallard would have something to say, given it's his brainchild (he still has the art for it on his office wall) and Skytrex is a subsidiary of Warlord. I'm just really hoping it doesn't linger in purgatory, given it basically completes the WW2 gaming lineup for them.

@@ModellingforAdvantage Yup, I've seen that, including a couple not in the rulebooks. Makes me hope that they'll actually release a new (and much updated/fixed) edition eventually.

I am not completely sure. They talked at least a year ago about discontinuing it, but they still have models for sale I thik.

nice video to be honest I'm mot a fan of Warlord resin figures, to much flash and I have to rethink my assembly and mounting glue

I know what you mean, I am not keen on the material.

Yeah, must be horrible to make historical miniatures and then someone points out a minor mistake. You can a) Thank them and make sure you don't make the mistake again; or b) Treat them with open contempt.

Depends on the mood of the day. I've rolled my eyes many times when i read or hear people harping about incorrect shades of uniforms or some other tiny things that no one would notice ever if not pointed out. Some people just want the attention of being noticed, even if it's negatively.

Well they really shouldn’t bother with tmp lol.
