John just agrees with everyone on every remark about him: If Abigail says he's a useless fool, he agrees with it; If Uncle calls him a miserable sack of sh*t, he agrees with him. John is no fun man at all, rather he surrounds himself with people who make fun of him (Uncle, Arthur, etc.). I can't even recall any joke or witty response of his. He just acts like dumb but serious cowboy. Whereas Arthur was intelligent enough to keep a journal and see the gangs' demise when John couldn't.

Meanwhile I'm still here wondering why Dutch trusts a guy who has been with him for 7 months over someone who he raised since 15.

Dutch was really unstable at the time so it was easy for micah to step into his head and make him paranoid of his closest gang members stabbing him in the back.

At that point in the game, Micah doesn’t seem to have done *too* much. Arthur definitely doesn’t trust him, and only breaks him out of jail on Dutch’s behalf, but at this point Micah hasn’t started manipulating Dutch or anything else. It’s not until Chapter 6 where I think Micah really started to play his hand, and if that mission happened then, Arthur probably would’ve done that, yeah

Micah is a Character that can only exist in a heavily scripted Video Game such as Red Dead Redemption 2. Realistically speaking, Arthur and John already suspect him of being a rat, if not just a corrosive entity inside the Gang itself. Given the amount of turmoil that follows Micah wherever he goes, anybody with deductive reasoning can identify him as the problem, and the problem with this Story? John and Arthur both do exactly that. Yet, they do nothing, because Rockstar doesn't let them. Were we discussing Human Beings interacting, rather than Video Game Characters, I do not see Micah surviving after Chapter 4, at the latest. He'd either be exiled at best (for his sake), or shot in cold blood at worst.

The conversation got too awkward

Its really nice to watch johns progression into a better man throughout the story

I like the way John treats Micah: doesn't play with him, just goes straight to him saying his opinion in the most manliest way. To be honest it was fate that John killed Micah and not Arthur. After all, Micah didn't just tyrannize him, but also his family. (With among his family the whole gang as well)

Everyone’s talking about how John changed a lot, and I’m over wheezing at how Arthur flew off his horse at the end 😂😂😂

Horse accidents in the game are really funny until they're not. And then after a while they're just really, really irritating.

Hearin' Micah talk is more painful than havin' tuberculosis.

John was such a deadbeat in the first few chapters. His character development between the final chapters and Red Dead 1 is incredible. He turned into a completely different person.

@@ericbaldemor8307 John was never an actual idiot, he's always been quite intelligent and among the smartest in the gang along with Arthur, Hosea and Dutch. He only acted dumb because he was young and wanted to avoid responsibility. Hosea points this out in a camp conversation.

In chapter 1 John wouldn’t ever call jack his son, but when he said leave my SON alone made me actually smile 🥺😭

“Come on play, pa!” “What did you call me?” :( 0:05 The reason i think John questioned Jack was because i don’t think John thought Jack was really his son because Abigail had romances with most of the gang before she got with John or Jack never called him it... :(

Micah saying two orphans was probably a refference to rdr1 ending

“Cherish every last moment with your son, John” Foreshadowing......

@@louisrage2ndchannel126 RDR 3 will probably be a prequel to RDR 2. If it follows Jack it'll be well into WW1 timeline and I don't think they'll go there.

To be fair arthur and John are the only 2 people to repeatedly crash their horse into a bridge or sign or wall

John being a father and playing with Jack and him an Arthur protecting Jack from Micah is great

I just love the fact that when Micha acts tough he does it to people that he sees weaker them him. But here when he did it to Jack and John confronted him like a man Micha slowly backs up. It's the same when he finally decides to fight Arthur but only chooses to do so when he realizes he's sick. And even then he couldn't kill him in the fight.

Arthur won that fight, he made it to the gun and was about to shoot that rat, but sadly Dutch got in the way, he always was Micha's guardian angel.

@@skywarser1610 you can still steer it in cinematic mode. That ride was not really a cut scene, the player just had it in cinematic mode.

Regarding the end, The moment I fell off my horse and Dutch continued riding off without saying anything,I knew something wasn’t right. Lol

For Dutch, it was all about self, mainly himself. As long as he had money, everyone else was expendable. Within a little while, Dutch became an O'Driscoll

John in chapter one to three is a terrible father to Jack, a even worse husband, and above all else is an idiot, but after Jack gets kidnapped he learns of all the mistakes he made and tries his best to become better then he was before, sometimes it worked and sometimes it failed, but at least he's trying.

I think it was more that he was caught off guard and Jack calling him “Pa” kind of made him do a mental double take. He wasn’t expecting it, but I don’t think he was mad that Jack referred to John as his father. If anything I’m sure that, if this was applied in a real life scenario, it would have left John smiling afterwards.

@@Emilystarks No, he didn't believe Jack was his son because Abigail was a prostitute and slept with a lot of gang members, the only ones that were actually said were Bill, Javier and Dutch, but there's a lot of evidence pointing toward Uncle and Arthur being with her too. That's why at the beginning of RDR2 Arthur was always angry at John for ditching the gang for a year, he left because he was afraid of being a father and he didn't think he was.

I love how john slowly grows to appreciate and love Jack he went from ignoring him to defending him from a rat.

@@_Atreides_ Arthur is much stronger than John buddy. John is a great shot but it doesn't mean that he is as good a bare knuckle fighter as a shooter. Micah is heavier and a mean bastard with no principles, I think he's capable of ripping almost anybody's head clean off if he has enough reasons for that. And the fact that he struggled against Arthur doesn't mean he couldn't have won the fight in case Arthur was healthy

"Share every last moment with your son John." Well i suppose he got over 11 years with Jack until John died but John should have been able to see him grow into a man
