Let um make fun of your bike bro. They’re leaving someone else alone while they’re messing with you. They’re also probably walking or wishing they owned a bike. Any bike you love is cool no matter what others think. You take care and stay safe.

Anyone who clowns someone for a sportster needs to do a little history lesson on the harley scene and show some respect. You guys have ZERO clue on what you're talking about. Love this bike bro and people who clown others for stuff like this should be met with pity.

I have bad bones so I’m strictly a rear suspension Rider so this Sporty is right in my wheelhouse. Changing the rake/trail and wheelbase by extending the front and moving the fork tubes up/down in the trees is an old racers tuning trick and makes a world of difference in handling characteristics as noted here.

VOES is a bummer to hide but it definitely serves a legitimate purpose. evos need it to advance the timing from idle to high load. it’ll run okay some of the time without it, but if you’re hitting it on the highway or ripping through hills you’ll need it. i tucked mine in behind the top motor mount-super short vacuum line and grounded to the motor mount. hidden pretty good and the super short vacuum line holds it in place without the need for a bracket. always nice seeing a swinger chop.

Love this bike, super rad. Honestly if I was to give any advice on upgrades to this…save your money and take it to a legit proper shop and have the struts welded back to a normal length. Maybe you could fit someone’s old cut off pieces…Wouldn’t be a big deal if all you carried was a bar bag but keeping your girl safer on the back is a good idea. Probably stop the bottoming out which makes it saver for both of you. Otherwise, rad bike. Also personally I wouldn’t hardtail this, it’s sweet like it is swingarm choppers have their place.
