    Unbelievable he lived the life he lived and did so much and able to go on speaking tours at 86 or 87 and then to be taken in a car accident in the backseat of a taxi with his wife on the way home from the airport after getting a prize in Europe. Life is so random. God bless you and his wife and family

    I just watched 'A Beautiful Mind' and I must confess that the moment he says goodbye to Charles and Marcie is breaks my heart and makes me cry like a blubbering baby. Since seeing this film, I always wondered how accurate that was, indeed all the hallucinations. And did he really become convinced he was sick because Marcie never got any older.

    I'm ... not sure that's an accurate version of how he overcame his disease. It's actually not insanely unusual for people suffering with schizophrenia to start distinguishing their hallucinations from reality on the basis of what makes sense. But also-I'm not sure how Nash used math at all? (Keeping in mind, of course, that, contrary to the film, he didn't have visual hallucinations, so the whole "they don't age" thing was just for Hollywood.)

    I don't how much of the film is true, but I know math explains the universe in almost every way. If you dig deep enough, math will be the explanation. I watched the movie and he says he'll use math to fix his problem, but they never show how he actually does that. He just gets used to the hallucinations and ignores them, but they're never gone

    I've learned that there really are evil reptilian beings that go to great lengths to stay secret, yet torment people with their, "supernatural," abilities. Their soul can astrally project, they can read people's conscious minds and induce feelings and emotions. They can even put words and images into people's heads, using quantum entanglement. They like to cause people to look crazy so that the person is alone. They feed off of the misery. I've been overtly harassed and threatened for about a year now, because I'm exposing them. They are behind the tyranny, violence and mysery, in the world. The details of my experience would fill a large book. There are, however, benevolent, extremely intelligent gecko-like humanoids, at work, too. I reached out and they got into contact with me. I think I provoked the evil creatures to reveal themselves to me. The evil ones are going down, but we are expected to do our part. I've been given the power to shake these creatures off from people, temporarily. I've compiled lots of good evidence, some original at Parler.com/tommy321. I just started a tik tok under the name reptilian_demon_exposure. I'm told that some people can shake these things off. You might be able to. First, ask God for the Holy Spirit. Then, tell the nasty creatures to release you and your family, in Jesus Christ's name. Keep telling them and remind them that they cannot harm you because you have the Holy spirit. Idk why or how this works, but it does. I should make a list of people to do this for. Here's a good quick YT start. This info is hard to find. • @walkertongdee

    Nash says that his equation predicts possible outcomes given that people should always act in a way that will be beneficial to them not only in the present but in the long run. Soon after world war two Nash started formulating his theory that was originally called Nash Theory but came to be called Game Theory because one acts as in a game and in a predetermined way, a way that will yield the best results for them. The result may not be a perfect result because others are plotting and acting out their own “game theories”. For game theory to work the players have to be self centered egoistic people, in other words the kind of people who run the world. As a post graduate of Princeton he was recruited by the Department of Defense. At first his help was enlisted to break codes and later he worked at a military strategy division called the Rand Corporation. What Nash did for them was apply his Game Theory to what was soon to be called the cold war. The Rand Corporation devised and began the cold war through the use of Game Theory. Rand corporation strategists used Nash’s mathematical models of game theory to predict how the Russians would react to what the US military was doing. Nuclear proliferation followed to insure that no matter what either side did, both sides would still have enough bombs retaliate. This was considered to be what was best for both sides effecting nuclear equilibrium or nuclear standoff. Then Nash took his theory one step further to show that one could create stability through self interest and fear. He created a game that he actually did call “fuck you buddy” where it is stated that the way to win is to ruthlessly betray your opponent. He took his game theory and tried to apply it to all forms of human interaction. Nash showed that people will strategize to get what they want and there will always be the option of equilibrium. Through rationally using their selfish desires both sides can perfectly adjust to develop equilibrium. But the rational decision to make is that one should always betray his opponent, if someone plays fair and upholds their end of the deal there will be a payoff to his opponent, this is called the sucker payoff. His Game Theory applied to economics won him the Nobel Peace Prize. Today these theories are considered basic business operating procedures just like in the cold war and “fuck you buddy” is the modus operandi of the stock market and corporate world to this today. In 1959 Nash was forcefully committed to a mental hospital for Paranoid Schizophrenia but the game plays on. Postscript: Then that little piss ant Ron Howard totally misinterpreted this man and his twisted mind as being perfect.

    Opie Taylor's feel-good movie removed many of the complexities of Nash's life. The abandoned illegitimate son, the homosexual episodes, and the divorce. Would have made a more interesting, less one-dimensional film.

    I watched the movie beautiful mind but I don't know that he is the real person

  • @PiCheZvara
    @PiCheZvara Жыл бұрын

    It's actually funny how this man's public image is pretty much dependent and based on A Beautiful Mind. Like the movie is pretty damn good, Crowe is excellent, but it really is almost all Hollywood BS. It's the best type of Hollywood, it warms the heart, well shot, great music, etc., quality work, but it is probably a very far cry from the real man. And thus you get people always looking at him through the lens of "awww, that's the guy who showed Jennifer Connelly the beautiful umbrella in the sky" and "I loved the scene where they highlighted the numbers and shit and camera rotated - damn that was cool af". And the fact he had to accept that his image and memory is dependent on such from his POV probably pretty trite and overly sentimental emotional tearjerker...IDK. The movie is respectful, but it's just completely made-up almost to the point where it's questionable whether anyone really cares to have such a tombstone. But maybe it's better than nothing I guess. And people who only know him from the movie and understand fuck all about his work then sing him praises because he speaks in a slow, soft voice - how he's a beautiful "humble man", or a "great guy". Really it seems like this guy deserves some proper, comprehensive documentary about his life and work and about what the movie does right and wrong - not in an attempt to demean the film, but in an attempt to sort of set the public record straight so this man's memory is exactly what is should be.
