@@feidhlim7748 great video , amazing . Murphy WSS my fav since I saw him get hung only Bc I saw his anger that he had inside of him. And I saw myself in Him. My grandfather died during Covid and that’s when I had watched the 100 and I could see myself in Murphy being angry, and wanting revenge. I love Murphy

I restarted the 100 yesterday. He was such a baby in s1 . Best and most realistic character development on the show . Thank you for the awesome video ❤️

If i were to judge Murphy from season one i wouldnt like him At all but over the next 6 seasons he have really grown and evolved. I think it all started when he met amori and found someone who loved him for him and all his flaws. He first showed how much he loved amori in season 4 when clarke was gonna use her to test the night blood in the radiation chamber and we saw the ultimate love in Season 7 when she died and he put her mind drive in his head just to be with her for a few more hours even though he knew they would both die. He even showed how he developed when he was willing to jeaopordize his life by hiding the children of gabriel in the reactor room. He thought of someone else safety other than his own. The 100 has really grown on me over these yrs. The characters develop so much its just amazing. Raven, caine, octavia, echo, bellamy, jasper and so much more have their own development story over the seasons. Best series ever may we meet again

Every single one of your videos makes me appreciate something new about the show or realize exactly why these characters are so special. This one helped me do that with Murphy - he’s a survivor in nature with a selective heart. But when he loves someone like he loves Emori he’s got a lot to give, and he learns a lot because of it. In a sense his love for Emori comes to “free” him from being shackled to always choosing survival - morality over immortality after all. Thanks for this I love it.

Thank you so much!! It means a lot! Emori and their relationship is definitely a huge part of Murphy's development and I think it's pretty beautiful. Someone who did anything to survive on his own, to someone who would sacrifice his life to be with his lover.

I love how in this video, you show us the love between John and Emori. Emori never left his side and you can see John do the same in the end.

John Murphy is such a common name where I'm from. When I first heard it I related to "John Smith" or "Jane Doe". His actions in the first and early seasons made him a deplorable character. I thought he was a throwaway for the plot, a character that would represent an inconvenience for the "heroes" and eventually be killed off. Forgettable. When I watched the series finale I sobbed when he sacrificed his life for a few hours with Emori. Some people like to shit on The 100 for a multitude of reasons but if you've never watched it all the way through you won't realize that this is some of the best character development in dystopian television. Absolutely stunning. I don't even know when I started sympathizing with Murphy or how he became my favourite male character but it happened.

This is BEST John Murphy edit I have ever seen! And I love the fact that you included emori in this video as well.

"I would take a few more hours with you over forever without" Who would have thought, in season 1, our little Cockroach would feel that for someone...

Now I rewatching the 100 and I recall how much he changed and grow up throughout the seasons he is jackass, enemy, cockroach 🪳, antihero, hero. And his relationship with Emori just the best, I'm shipping them madly. Such amazing dynamic. I remember how he always was scared to see her dying first and it was so hard to see this coming true. When they got to the space station and he had lesser oxygen he said "good, at least I don't have to watch you die". Same was with him worshipping Emori and being jealous of her on the Ark bc he thought she doesn't need him anymore. 🥺 Pour cockroach 🪳

I also really loved the "Have we learned nothing?!" in this video, before that line he was mostly shown beaten up for his mistakes and after that he started fighting back for his people. And so cute that the end turned full on Memori 😄 Beautiful Edit

Honestly thinking back , he was one of the best ljke legitimate fighters . Mentally and physically For instance in the bunker. He almost killer himself but fought it. And physically . He may get beat senseless but always fights back. Ik that’s how fights work. But he keeps persistent. He’s Fr awesome and my fav character ever. Like he says “It’s the fighters that survive” he keeps fighting . At all costs. John Murphy , is a fighter

My favourite character

One of the few shows that made me really sad it actually ended. Liked so many of the characters that when it ended it was like a bullet in the heart. Rarely felt that for other series.

Why does everyone say they hated him during the first season? Everyone else was no different than him they all just got away with it but still blamed him for everything. I loved him from the beginning of the show specially when they unfairly hanged him
