John Muir Trail Thru-Hike: Ep. 6 - THE SUMMIT! (Forester Pass to Whitney Portal)
We did it! They say the end of a race can be the hardest part…well this JMT thru-hike was no exception. What an experience…what a ride! This adventure was like none other for my brother and me. Rewarding, challenging, grueling, tranquil, frightening…it was all there. Nothing worthwhile comes easy and I will be forever grateful that Strider and I were able to experience this together. Very, very good times!

Wow! Watched every Minute of each episode! I have dreamed for years of doing the JMT… have literally watched 1000 videos…. And that right there topes them all… Better even than Mile… Mile and a half!!! Well done… Now time to watch it all over again!!!
Dude getting over Forrester made us cry! It was so strange but Forrester was the real signal that the journey was coming to a close with just Whitney left. Loved every step of it! Miss you boys! Great series!

Awesome video series Austin! I used to get out and hike alot but have slowed down. Watching this series makes me realize what I have been missing. And about the views... I have often thought when I look back at the photos and videos I took of that area several years ago.... there's no justice to what you actually see and most importantly.. feel when you are standing there looking out on forever! If you ever have a empty spot I'd love to tackle something like this.
