I was a music jock on WLIR (92.7 Long Island) helping to break this amazing artist just a year or two before. I had the pleasure of meeting John not long after this period. We both performed at a hospital for terminally ill children. Nothing but good vibes from him. Feels like yesterday, but it was a lifetime ago.

This interviewer way of going with the flow is so underrated. She's so in the moment.

John really is such a masterclass act. He is extremely talented and you can tell he enjoys what he does.

Hella articulate and self aware right from the beginning.

I was at this show. I can still remember someone throwing a thermos to him from the crowd and him playing a slide guitar solo with it.

Who knew how great he would be? Wait! What? We all knew from that first album. Then the second, even better… etc. Incredible singer song writer and guitarist from his first introduction to the world. It’s only happens with a few artists no matter how great they end up being.

If that's his #1 aka 'The black one' it's amazing seeing it in such pristine condition. If that is the actual guitar then I can tell you it's a SRV signature issue with big dipper pickups
