@@SubProductionsVideo Yeah I totally get the Daft Punk vibe now that you mentioned it! You did honor to the soul of the original version by retaining enough of John’s vocal essence and instrumentals, while blending in some of the dancey, robo-metallic synthesizers to lend funk and flavor. I liked the feel of the arpeggiating liquid-atmosheric sounds that you added at the breakdown part at 0:50. A lot of great touches in there, including the echoing guitar solo with the unexpected stutter-step beat. May I ask what software you use? I may get into remixing myself, but feel intimidated by complicated processes, much preferring intuitive-style programs without the drudgery. Anyway, it’s great to experience how you’ve taken a song like this that you love by a beloved legend like John Mayer, and produced something distinct and enjoyable and danceable like this!

@@DJfractalflight Thanks again! So good to read you feel the same about this remix as my intention was at the time.. When you have the right elements it inspires you also.. My DAW is Logic Pro X. Try a few programs and see which one fits best for you... it's like driving a car... ;)

It's surprising how much this fits Maison Ikkoku.
