    Wow i just took a lesson from Mark Lettieri a couple weeks ago.. Cool to see him Jamming with Mayer. Mark is a great guitarist! John has turned out to be a great player and he did a really good job playing with Dead and Company he really gave new life to the whole dead thing!

    Holy shit ... my two favorites guitarist on the same stage. I would spend a lot of money to see a HD live footage of a Guitar band session + John Mayer. Seeing him out of his confort zone (pop songs & blues) to go more through jazz music would be a delight ! :)

    It probably was a 2 hours long solo from John in Can't Wait for Perfect. I mean, the guy has been making fade out music since 98 just so he can stretch the final solos for hours in the shows. By the way, imagine going to a Bob Reynolds Guitar Band show (already awesome) and then getting a John Mayer live feature. I wish I was there!

    Do you always use wired mics, or do you use the wireless version of the PRO 35? If so, what wireless system are you using? Or wire with a belt clip of some sort to protect the thin cable from the mic to the XLR interface?

    Ok so i just started watching your videos today. Big fan of Snarky Puppy of course and all of you guys as individually amazing players and people. I dig the guitar band videos as well and I'll need to grab a copy of that! anyways.. I see the John Mayer thing and first this I see is a repost by "LCP365" Thats my homie Lawrence that shot that video!! A killing sax player up and coming in his own right. I don't know.     So cool when the the hotel staff to sneak into your room and set up your camera ready to film as you walk in sweating, carrying your horn, luggage, toothbrush, pyjamas and all that stuff you took but never used, took it all home again but vowed not to take so many t shirts, socks and all the 'just in case' stuff next time. Ha ha... Well I do anyway. Oh shit...I'm so sad.

    Jimmy Chen he pretty much just played the blues pentatonic scale mixed with some double stops. Learn your scales with double stops in different intervals and you’ll start hearing what he’s doing. Much simpler then the full arpeggios the other guitarist are using.

    Andy Doubletrouble idk if you can quantitatively say which guitarist is better, but John Mayer is far more versatile as an artist though. He's playing with the Grateful Dead and I didn't think anyone could resurrect the magic of Jerry Garcia but john Mayer somehow did.
