In Your Atmosphere is definitely one of John’s best songs, it’s sad that it never got a proper release, but at least he still plays it live, and what a crowd too!

@@yourbrotherben Absolutely! In fact the whole performance is incredible. He was "on" in every way that night. Even songs that were recorded, he was killing those songs live. When Mayer really decides to put on a show...it's amazing to see. He knows his craft.

Not sure how often he plays this song live but gotta feel pretty good to put this song out on Where the light is as an unreleased song and then the next time you play it have people sing it back to you.

However, I realized that this something that the rest of the tour won't be like so it was special. But then that man Questlove came out and I lost my mind. Plus Gravity was amazing although Slow dancing had the better solo.

john mayer seems like he is more and more capable of hitting higher notes. makes me glad bc this dude is an amazing artist

I've listened to numerous versions of this track. I don't think many of the younger generations truly understand this type of music. Knowing the lyrics is one thing, however, the music itself can be understood by only a few. Johns music, without words, tells me precisely what I'm listening to.

i usually dont really like fans who scream out too much but that "NO WAY NO WAY" in huge shock and disbelief scream during the intro really made the clip better

For everyone who only went on the 21st, I went both the 20th and the 21st, and let me tell you something: The 20th, musically speaking was a great show, it was amazing, roaring solos, great solos from the other bandmates and overall a crazy experience. But I really liked this 2nd show the best. Sunday's crowd sucked. People were barely dancing, nobody had their phone lights out, I had people next to me literally sitting down and just talking to each other. The 21st John talked way more, took his time to look around at us as you know. The phone lights, the cheering, the feeling of closeness with him and everybody else in that stadium was much more worth it imo. The 20th was great but you could find footage like that alone or at other shows. But going tonight for the 2nd time truly was something I'll never forget and to all the fans who came today to a mostly acoustic show I am sorry you didn't get to hear his capabilities live because they are phenomenal but that show could be duplicated. This mostly acoustic had a vibe I don't think I'll ever experience at a show again for a long time.

Was there both nights also. Two completely different experiences. I honestly cannot say which was better. They were just different. His soloing and singing on night 1 was the best I have ever heard him. Night two was just magic.

I NEED him to play In Your Atmosphere when he comes to Denver. Please johnnnnnnnnnnn
