John's signature song 'Gravity' continues to be his flagship, and well deserved it is. I love this tune to pieces and always will. This version will hold a special place in my heart for the master.
Love that you can hear him step on his pedal. Never heard that in one of these videos
That intro is so bluesy....starting from 0:55 may be one of the most hauntingly beautiful things that have ever happened in any renditions of gravity. Pure magicians. Thanks for the amazing sound quality!
He is truly one of the greatest, the last true guitar hero.

This song is awesome when it came out. Something to be said when the song's lyrics and melody converges with time and place that gives it a special meaning. Instant classic.
thanks so much for posting. I went to the show in St. Louis in March. Each one is different, loved this version.
Glad you shared this. My favorite rendition of this song all time
When he plays bb king style, his facial expression changes 😎

@@rahulvig5298 that's still not RAW talent. It took him decades to develop this control over his vocal instrument. The guitar amplifier is probably 1-2 of his vintage fender amps, $2000+ guitars, sound engineers with racks of incredibly powerful gear processing the entire mix. There's nothing "raw" up there. It's all COOKED, refined and perfected. The exact opposite of RAW.

@@officialmoondancer obviously man. You know what he meant, so what's the harm. Not everyone is as technically or verbally focused on what they write. The OP used language as a tool to convey his emotions, if we start nitpicking on that, then I'm sure we can go on and on with a debate that leads none of anywhere lol

@@rahulvig5298 simply stating and defending that his talent isn't raw. It's refined and as an artist, it's a bit of a slight to discount the decades of effort put into defining a unique sonic signature.
Full body goosebumps!
40 years from now people will be watching John’s playing right next to all the other legends. And let’s set the skill debate aside - there’s one thing that’s going to set John apart from 99.9% of the rest…
How brilliant is that ending, delightful, thanks for sharing
Delightful thanks for sharing
I’ve grown with this song, from a 20-year-old kid who felt so lost and confused in the world, to the person I am now, who still feels lost and confused sometimes, but has more faith in myself. ❤️

I was 16 when I heard this first, I'm 33 now. I've grown with John, from his acoustic phase, right through every era of his genius. I started playing guitar when I was 12 or 13, mostly nirvana and green day stuff. Until I heard John, I knew I had to step up my game, that there was more to this instrument than power chords. Now I'm no virtuoso lol but thank you John for unlocking the blues in me.. The blues don't change 💙

This was an intimate and enchanting session. It was a treat for all who were in attendance; I will remember it for the rest of my life. I'm sorry you have different feelings, but I hope you enjoy whatever tour comes next! I decided to skip the second half of his USA tour. I got to go to one show, and I had great seats. I'd rather leave the other shows for other fans.

well if you ever wonder why these musicians end up being so mainstream watered down versions of there selves. It’s because people like you don’t like them going outside the box. If you don’t like it cool, but you could tell he loved it. Why steal that from him?
