I skipped around a bit looking for guitar stuff but instead heard some interesting thoughts. One thing you said about wanting to hang out and live a day in the shoes of a typical domestic person reminded me of a couple things. One is the song “Common People” by Pulp. The other is a surreal scenario I’ve imagined where I’m just going about my business driving somewhere and a high profile person like Obama or somebody mysteriously appears in the passenger seat of my car. After a moment of like “what the hell just happened,” we kind of work together to get that individual back to their usual orbit. In the process we learn a bit about what’s the same or different between us. Props for getting your thoughts out there. Leonard Cohen sang somewhere “I hope your keeping some kind of record,” and clearly you are.

#johnmayer Everyone should see a third party to talk to. It is nice to talk someone at all times. Even if everything is fine (so you think). It is good for us in personal growth and so we don't get home daily and kick the dog. You know those talks with the wife/husband or heck even the kids once in a while. When both of you feel 100% correct even though you are not sure who is really correct, Well, this is a great person to ask (councilor). That is not saying you are evil, it means you or I simply went about discussing it the wrong way etc. I do believe in counseling as well John and you look like you have your head on straight so it clearly is working for you and that is what counts. Works for me too. By the way. Beautiful white Tib....Beautiful amigo. I am in the mood for white at times. I simply cant afford that one as I do not shred on anything but when I put paper in our work shredder. I know, sad. I play bass and I can say I play bass. However, shredding the bass like Jaco is not really going to happen in my life. I have a feeling.
