John Mayer - 3x5

Музыка

From the Melbourne show at Vodafone Arena 07.04.07. Played 3x5 as the first song in the encore after some teeny boppers in the front row made a sign requesting it. Whatever his motive, it was still frickin' awesome to hear it!

You know, there's a certain amount of irony in recording a song with a camera phone that's about putting down the camera and experiencing life instead of trying to capture it for later. :-) Great song btw, thanks for sharing. :-)

omg! It's such a great thing that music isn't subjective and only musically inclined wonders like you have a say in what the public should listen to. Thank you sir or madam for your brilliant insight and saving us all from ourselves by taking away our burdomsome god given gift of individuality and taking it into your hands!!!!! Oh wait....I think i'll, and maybe the rest of us, will continue having our own musical tastes....thank you

no I'm saying people can listen to whatever music they want. I would prefer if they listened to stuff that I like. mostly I am saying don't listen to "bad" music just because it is the only thing you are exposed to. Everyone should seek music that they like. If you dont like it, you don't HAVE to put up with it. I mean I'm declared as a voice major in college, but I don't especially like opera, so I pick and choose what classical stuff I listen to, while finding guys like Jack Conte and Incubus

being a full time professional musician in the jazz scene, i think i would know what is good music and what is bad music. i agree with you in that, i hate it when people listen to shit music by MY standards, but you basically said, people can listen to whatever they like, as long as it agrees with my standards of music.... what does that mean?

He's is the greatest musician on the planet and although he makes a funny face when singing and he is thirty. He is still the hottest most talented musicain that still is unique. He is so good and people don't undestand how good he sounds even when he's live!!

chill out dude no need up and diss a large group of people like that. not to mention you are wrong you might not like his music but he in no way sucks. he is one of the most talented musicians alive today without a doubt. just because there are a bunch of screaming girls at his concerts doesnt mean he isnt an incredible musician.

i don't see whats at all wrong with the making of the faces. seriously. he is in the state of musical euphoria and feeling and its not a beauty contest. besides that, making faces makes you sing better, thats to me though.

don't listen to this guy people. Personally I like John Mayer, but I'm gonna listen to Normality's people too. All that matters is finding music you like. anything that can be done to shift people from music made for the dumb stupid radio masses (ie: Britney Spears, Katy Perry, etc) is making the world a better place in my mind.

  • @nthsieh928

well first of all, when was John Mayer a major part of MTV? you are just putting a generic label on a specific artist that doesn't really apply. He is much more closely associated with VH1 though. Also just because he is on MTV or VH1, watever you call it, doesn't mean its bad. There isn't a thing that they played that John Mayer couldn't have played. You've done ntohing but show other people, what hgave you accomplished in music?

I got nothing against you man, and nothing against john mayer. But as to why not listen to Katy Perry, my opinion is this: 1) i think it is musically CRAP. 2) why would I eat gravel if it's the same price as a 5 star restaurant? Why wear rags if I can get into Macy's for free? 3) My mind is run by music, and bad music causes me pain. I really can't take it. It makes me angry like nothing else in the world really can.

You have very bad taste in music. At least, if you're going to flame another artist, don't be so harsh. Show some class, buddy...
