An intense focus on engineering exploration and the engineering design process drives everything we do at John Marshall School of Engineering, where students design and build robots, construct energy-efficient cars and explore green technology.
The vision of John Marshall School of Engineering is to provide a safe, collaborative environment where you will be encouraged to be an innovative thinker who contributes to the technological advancement of our community.
You can choose from three Project Lead the Way engineering pathways: aerospace engineering, civil engineering and architecture or environmental sustainability. You can participate in Early College Early Career pathways through the Manufacturing Advocacy and Growth Network, which will introduce you to manufacturing careers or the Tri-C Youth Technology Academy.
Ninth- and 10th-grade students are exposed to general engineering principles to prepare them for their chosen pathway. Eleventh- and 12th-grade students focus on the pathway that will lead to industry-recognized credentialing, college readiness and the opportunity to receive college credit.
Highlighted Academic Offerings:
• Customized core classes with an infusion of engineering exploration
• College courses provided by Tri-C Youth Technology Academy
• Senior AP courses in core subjects
