Those of us who love Craig would rather see him doing his goofy quick-witted persona, but I think it shows a measure of maturity to scale it back for certain guests. I thought he was just fine with Malkovich, and Malkovich showed appreciation and good humor for Craig's humor numerous times. Actually, I'm amazed how well he does with the prima Donas like Harrison Ford, Keanu, Morgan Freeman, Anthony Hopkins, Russel Crowe, et al. By the way. There is 'winter white', just like the color John has on. You can find this color in many items of clothing made for wintertime. Wool sweaters. Wool suits. Wool skirts. Wool coats. Wool scarves. Leather coats, skirts, pants, boots, hats, gloves, All in winter white, which is a creamy white like John's suit. Anyway, winter does not really come to parts of the Southern USA. I think it's mostly some older people that needlessly worry about the propriety of wearing white in winter.

Love JM giggles. It's so precious but none of these giggles compares to the giggle he had on Graham Norton Show when Asling Bea made him literally tear up with laughter.
Man, this was the best Interview John has ever given. Craig does such a good job. Miss that.
I used to have a massive crush on malkovich for years, it started after watching dangerous liasons... haha
Line delivery, timing, humor, subject matter, very refreshing and Being John Malkovitch throughout especially like his role in the aforesaid movie and Burn after Reading
That circumcised conversation is gold. Only Craig can do that shit while being next to a dignified actor.
Somehow, I wouldn’t mind listening to Malkovich for a whole day👏

Great personality and beautiful voice.
Malkovich seems to enjoy and appreciate humor, but is rather awkward expressing his sense of humor. He's one of my favorite actors.

This is HILARIOUS. C & J are really good together!!
The South Africa experience he's talking about is the movie Disgrace (2008)
I love that even the most ridiculous questions John will genuinely mow over the response before simply saying......."no." It is just so poignant.
He got him to laugh! This is a great interview… man Craig was so so good on another plane!!! Miss him !
He was a damn good actor that chicken. This is the best interview anyone has ever done with him.
Mr.Malkovich is a very kind and talented human being .
"So you came late to the surfing." Oh Craig :):):)
The switch in video quality and clothing and pretty much everything between the 2008 interview and the 2010 one is crazy!
My all time favorite collaboration would be John and Gary Oldman. My 2 favorite actors of all time!!!
I don't usually think so highly of actors; that they deserve so much praise. John Malkovich however is great in everything I've seen him in

I 1st seen John in Knockaround Guys years ago, just recently getting into his movies and interviews and I'm sorry it took so long because this man is just excellent.
what a reversed world we live in to have John Malkovich, the most normal person in the entire world called weird. completely describes the culture
Malkovich is fascinating
Oh I LOVE these two! What an absolute delight 🤣😎♥️
I think Craig is so much better than anyone doing late night now.
I subbed because I found myself watching tons of these. I'm from the UK so can only remember CF doing some Breakfast TV spots before he took off, but these shows are really good. I'm developing a new found respect for a fellow Scot.
Clearly that was the best akward pause on the show ever.

I just saw him in Ripley's Game and loved it. He brings class and calm to every scene. Such a great actor.
That awkward pause = king slayer.
A Great Actor. Incredible Artist.
I like how John feels bad after correcting Craig that Austrian people speak German lol such a nice lad he didn't want to be a bitch about it !
@MichaelVereno

From an Austrian: Craig isn't entirely wrong here. Though we do speak a variety of German here, it is often at odds with "German" German, and we do use a lot of different vocabulary which is unknown in most parts of Germany.
