What a magical season 1985 was for the Bears. I was 19 then and we watched all those games at my friend Brian's house, his parents didn't mind if we drank. It was extra special when Madden and Summerall were the announcers, and that happened quite a bit that season because they were the #1 announcer team for the network and were always assigned to the best game, and the Bears were popular. I lost touch with Brian after I graduated from college, he died tragically 15 years ago on this very day I did get word in time to make his funeral, RIP Brian. Also RIP John Madden. @@yourmomisahostay in your lane your bullshit isn’t needed. As for the story thank you for sharing I am sorry for your loss. I hope you are still keeping his memory alive and watching football and even playing it. Time moves so fast, we are never promised tomorrow. I lost my mother just about two years ago. She never watched football really but she would always ask if the eagles won. I’m glad she got to know they won it all before she passed.

Same for a lot of other teams, i.e., Cleveland, Seattle, and New England. The Pats had a very good looking uniform with the "Pat Patriot" on their helmet, and somehow managed to screw it up by replacing it with that Elvis-looking thing. Cleveland's uniform now looks like dog shit...........
