Love seeing Terry Christian slowly losing the will too live by John's constant rebukes..priceless!

I had tears rolling down my eyes with laughter, Rikki Lakes giggling was the icing on the cake.

Sitting here in 2022 watching a video of Johnny Rotten cracking Ricki Lake up. I could watch this a hundred more times

Lydon is freaking hilarious without even trying! I would be under the table rolling on the floor if I was there!

That burp has to be one of the greatest burps ever shown on television

I, too, think he's wildly entertaining. Unfortunately, his social/political views -- to which he's certainly entitled -- can be oddly conflicting (e.g.,he's pro-working class but trashes the Labor Party). Broad-stroke soap-boxing ("this sucks, that sucks, buncha'c*nts..."), his "scorched earth" arguments have, at times, betrayed a Fox Nooze-ish bumper-sticker sentiment... which recently led him to metaphorically step on a prongs-up Trump-branded rake, which must've thwacked his frontal lobe pretty hard, because he was/is still...(?) a maga/trump backer. I'll momentarily give him the benefit of the doubt by suggesting a possible abducted & drugged scenario, but I dunno...jeesh. Nevertheless, his disarming wit and effortless command of the stage (both as a natural frontman as well as a pugnacious raconteur) has made Mr. Lydon a top draw in ant venue.

saw him in a bar in nyc c.1987. handsome for sure and a total star, like he had a permanent spotlight on him.

"What are we gonna break?" "Your career here if we're lucky."

I always love watching John's interviews, he takes control of the conversation and doesn't let these clown talking heads get their nonsensical questions through.

This was IMO when Lydon was at the peak of his powers. He looks great, sounded great, dressed well, had grown comfortably into his own skin...I always preferred PIL to the pistols anyway. I wasn't alive when they blew onto the scene, and it was all very political and very much a political statement rather than an emotional one (i'm sure for ppl who were there it was very emotional too). But PIL for me were infinitely more musically diverse and interesting. Love Johnny at this point in his career.
