    I've followed Dr Lennox's public life and debates ever since it came to the fore globally in 2007. He dismantled Dawkins completely in that first debate in Alabama. Dr Tour, your scientific knowledge on the chemical origin of life has been mind blowing over the last few years. This was a tremendous interview. The joy you both had doing it is contagious when watching it. To God be the Glory as He works in and through us all to the Glory of His Kingdom and His Christ Jesus.

    I feel so deeply moved by John's stories from behind the iron curtain. My parents became Christians in the early eighties, living in the GDR right behind the border to Western Germany and it's so wonderful to hear that people from other parts of the world cared to come and encourage Christians in these difficult times. Thank you John Lennox, from the bottom of my heart.

What a treasure that would be. Think of it this way. It is worth while for people to see the many times and the many ways that God has shown his hand in the teaching and the helping and the conversion of his people in many varied places and times of this earth. It is faith promoting, which I know you are all about promoting faith! Love to you, Sir. And love to you, Dr. Tour! Thank you for having this delight on your show. We love you, too! I haven't seen this side of Dr Lennox before. I was riveted by his story of how he went to Hungary, how God was clearly involved in every detail, down to the continuation of the preaching from the Hungarian preacher. Hearing stuff like this really builds your faith and shows how God has a plan for all of us who choose to follow Him even when, to look at our circumstances, we can't, in the natural, see it at all

    You said it, Dr Tour! My mind has been opened by reading the Bible, too. I knew it was important to read after I began my new life in Jesus in my 20s.... But it was always a struggle. I simply prayed consistently that He gives me a heart for the word. Not just to be able to understand, but to love it. And I can't get enough! It's the best medicine for my mind, and I see things so much more clearly every day Thank you both for everything said. I love the stories, I am going to check out this movie, and I'm praying people wake up before it's too late!

    I can confess that it took me 47years before taking my bible and read it front to back and making notes in the bible like a diary. The second time some passages became crystal clear. It is literally The Living Word as it speaks to you if I can put it this way. Wish I read the bible the day I became literate on school, it would have changed my life. Deuteronomy clearly state that you must drill the word every day.

    Make sure that you study the Bible, not just read it. All false doctrine comes from the truth misplaced. 2nd Timothy 2:15 King James Bible version only, will put you on the correct path. This is crucial to understanding Biblical soteriology, proper exegesis, and properly applying prophecy. If the only thing a person gets is Jesus Christ crucified, blood atonement, and resurrected, freely giving eternal life in this dispensation, they will make it. However, they should not teach anything else concerning the Bible.

  • @Kendojin

    @Kendojin

    @@JamesBrown-fd1nv For sure... I'm very big on my language matching the language of the Bible when I talk about what it teaches. And you can only get that by studying the Bible AND reading it. Reading it through is just basically bathing in the word... Letting it wash over you, through and through. The Holy Spirit will shine little spotlights on things when you do this. Maybe things you haven't seen before. It's intentional, but it's more like a passive kind of reading... Something that happens to you while you intentionally subject yourself to the Bible. And then getting in there and studying it. Especially those things the Spirit wants to teach you, and you feel called to study out... It's an adventure in God's word. Sometimes we stroll along. And sometimes we roll up our sleeves and go spelunking... Both are vital, and we can't neglect either one.

    @@JamesBrown-fd1nv Most Christians would discount "Jesus only", but too many are just fine with saying "KJV only". It is only because I stopped believing that the KJV was the only Bible I could read or the only Bible that God approved of that I even have a relationship with Christ. I always believed in God and Jesus, but I could not stomach struggling to read the Bible in the KJV, so I was stunted in my faith and understanding. Once I started reading the ESV and NASB and even the RSV which is more similar to the KJV in style, my faith and understanding has grown and I have been blessed immeasurably by reading the Bible in modern day English, not English that requires me to constantly look up words and keeps me from understanding.

    Im just a simple carpenter, and cant understand how any honest person can observe the hugely complex but orderly creation, up close or across the universe, and still assert that it all simply happened and deny God who, sustains everyone good or bad. I believe faith is a widely abused term. Everyone has belief to spend, even demons do. But the faith that pleases God, is a gift from God at rebirth, imo. Thanks for your time and efforts gentlemen.

    Dr. Lennox's story about Hungary reminds me of Brother Andrew, author of "God's Smuggler". He was Dutch in 1940's & thru amazing circumstances became one of the most prolific smugglers of Bibles behind the Iron Curtain then into China where his ministry eventually became known as "Open Doors International". Another story of seemingly impossible circumstances with people who suddenly intersect with a piece of a puzzle you didn't even realize God was putting together. It only required absolute faith Jesus would provide for every step of a willing journey he was taking you on. Such a lovely, lovely man. Both he and you, Dr. Tour, have such a love for people it radiates from your faces!

My Great Grand father, and Grand father traveled the world during the times professor lennox speak of, and it resonates deeply to gain insight to those days. Lets us give this a thumbs up, if you want a book or series on the life of Professor John Lennox ! 2022

    @@derhafi "In his mind there is no doubt, despite no demonstrable correlation between God and reality aka the complete lack of solid evidence that would add credibility to his position." It's really funny you want to be taken seriously. Real science says nothing does nothing. Real science says if there was something there already it must fit with the evidence of what we know. We know the 1LT says there's a conservation of energy. It can change forms and neither can be created or destroyed. Creation cannot happen by natural means. The 2LT has various aspects, one being the universe is winding down, entropy. Usable energy is becoming less usable, so at one point usable energy was at its max. This all points to a supernatural creation, by a supernatural creator at a certain point in which matter, space, and time were created. When I read how it can happen otherwise, ALL the fools resort to science-fiction. Once a supernatural creation is accepted, then the next step is finding proof of what supernatural power did it. We KNOW these laws. We have NO doubts about them. We also KNOW that the laws of nature can't come about without a Lawgiver, God. So if you want to pretend to be smart, please give me the laugh by giving your science how creation really happened by natural means. Also, throw in how we got the laws of nature, naturally. Life only comes from life. Law of biogenesis. God is the reason for us and all we have. kzread.info/dash/bejne/fJ2B09yHj7y5iLg.html The odds are NOT there. kzread.info/dash/bejne/iWWTraePkabfkaQ.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/q4ttycOwqr2yo84.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/lpiV07WupNebkdo.html

    I was raised in a godless home and I buried myself in books as a child. I read the Chronicles of Narnia over and over again because I wanted to go to Narnia. I wanted to stay in Narnia. I actually fell in love with Aslan. When I had my own kids, I bought the 7 book set for them to read. It wasn't until I was in my 50s that I became a Christian and found out that Aslan in the books of C. S. Lewis were a type of Christ! I was amazed that I had fallen in love with Jesus as a child and never knew it until much later in life. I bought the book set again and read it as an adult. It's just as beautiful now as it was when I was a child.

    I'm nothing more than a humble artist, down under in Australia. I'm surrounded by so many that simply are wrapped up in a sea of blindness. Many Intelligent intellects, hyper intellects in some cases: Their world view, one which I too once was firmly convinced was so correct, but based on a position of ignorance and a humanist, "Who does this Magic Sky Daddy think he is !" . I basked in the magnificence of the ridicule, patronisation, condescension and mocking directed at evidence based believers In particular by the likes of Hawking, Tyson deGrasse, Krause, Hitchens, "professor" Dave, Dawkins and others, but the more they mocked, the mpre I began to see that their mocking was sincerely and scientifically grounded on shifting sands: There was even this one little English biologist that went into a catatonic, blithering , chest beating , finger pointing at his his debate opponent attack. It was so clear he was doing this from such a deep rooted pathological patronising " hatred" of the Christian he was debating, and not from a position of attempting to respond to the scientifically articulate positions of the Christian debater or the historically documented answers he received about the events surrounding Jesus Christ....that made me begin thinking..." Why aren't they arguing the science, why aren't they arguing where the evidence is leading ? Why are they descending into, smirking mockery and the acts of depracation and puerile , eye rolling , wave of the hand dismissive vitriol, many adept at cherry picking door step headline statements from the bible, then working a room of teeth gnashing atheists into a fervour of laughter and despising malice, re-enforcing their anti theist, pedestal mounted pontification of a self believing perspective". None of the afore mentioned scientists, journalists and comedians get down to the nitty gritty when asked " Why" by Tour and Lennox....it digressed into " Billions of Years, billions of Multiverse...even Aliens".... but none address where the science leads, there's always drain pipes and alleys to scurry down when the hard questions are asked or simply the mocking. I tip my hat to Dr.Tour and Pr.John Lennox and the myriad of top level scientists in their midst that confront the Cowards when the big questions are posed.
