I appreciate that John felt moved to sing unto the Lord in this place, at this time and share his talent with the congregation and us. Each of us can receive what was offered, bless God and hopefully be inspired to praise God likewise. Thank you, john and keep it up. Now, I'm going to view some more of his gospel videos. Be blessed, everyone!

Probably the only way huge celebs like this even get a chance to attend church is by surprise drop-ins, because you know good and well they probably wouldn't even get a chance to get a seat themselves if it were pre-announced. This can be problematic to a celeb who is also seeking a church and closer walk with God. The congregations should remember that celebrities have souls to be saved, too!

She said, "You'll find out when you get to heaven, sugah. Now, gone head and let me finish up this here supper." I miss her and one day I hope I get to see her wearing one of those. That'll be enough for me.

Reading these comments...So many haters. And so sad. People are missing true blessings because God doesn't show up in the package they are accustomed to. Just because someone makes a living singing mostly what some people refer to as secular music, does not mean that God is not working through them to bless people and ultimately get the praise Himself. There are plenty of artists, like John Legend, who may not have "God" and "Jesus" in their lyrics, but their message is filled with truth and light and love. If you don't like it, that's fine, but don't judge someone else's praise. Have several seats!!!!

Lol John legend and couple more artist are responsible for my babies as I came about from Luther and some of the other greats. Fantasia sings secular music, but also take that secular crowd into a worship experience. I wish Christians would understand the work is outside the walls in order to reach the world.

Kevin Boseman Secular lyrics has no light in it my brother. Darkness and light don't mix hence, as a true follower of Jesus Christ john legend could not most Mister gospel in song to me. The gospel is a holy message orchestrated by the holy ghost...only true believer of Jesus Christ is filled with the holy ghost and fire... not putting down any one,but just the truth.

I love John Legend. He's truly is one of my favorite artist. He produces real family friendly love songs. But in the case of other secular artist, I truly do wish the church will stop getting so excited by secular artist/music. I mean really where are the people of Zion? Where is the separation btw the world and the church? Until the church realigns its self the world will continue to be lost... Its like the blind leading the blind

Hi Sherelle, a person can lose their salvation. Yes no one can pluck us out of God's hand once we become saved, BUT we can remove ourselves from His hand by choosing to live a rebellious, sinful life.

Saw the interesting comments and had to reply. Once we have truly accepted Christ in our heart and we are instantly saved there is nothing that can take that away. We can get out of fellowship with God by following our own selfish desires, but the Holy Spirit has a way of convicting us and bringing us back to God. One day we have to give an account for our lives. And as much as I love John Legend's singing, he will also.

Mister T so you are saying he is a Christian agsinst his will, if he doesn't want to be... a bunch of people in the Bible have lost their salvation.. so you must be misunderstanding that 1 verse..in view of many other verses.

LOL.. All these comments.. it is the Judges job to judge, it clearly states in the bible to judge not. Now if you are believers of Christ then this is not new to you and we should embrace the efforts of other and let God discern wether if brother John Legend is "putting on" (faking) or not..for those who don't believe then it's self explainable about your vision towards Gospel music and religion I respect your differences and I would only want you to do the same for me.. Peace!!! lol

Byron ... If you are going to quote Scripture at least know what you are talking about. In the book of Matthew, Jesus said "Judge Not" ... but that is all you want to hear .. you took that and ran with it because you think that Jesus was telling people who are offended by anything that you might do to leave you alone. But the Scripture went on to say "Lest ye be judge" .. and you went no further because if you read the entire chapter you would realize that Jesus was speaking about "hypocrisy" ... that if you are going to judge someone and condemn them for bad behavior than you yourself should be careful not to judge them when you are doing worse. Remember the part that says why take a "speck" out of your brother's eye when you have a "plank" in yours? Now I frequently hear people use "Don't Judge" as an excuse, but if you even read the Bible on a regular basis you would see in the book of John where Jesus said this ..." When you judge, judge not by appearance, but judge with a righteous judgment."
