John had a hell of a life. Escaped from East Germany after WW2 to the West and then on to the USA. Hell of a story.

You can tell John's not been playing for awhile, he flubbed that second intro into the song because of doing that "drum roll" thing lol, then he was in the wrong key with his slide guitar when he started playing, he even made a face and was laughing so he knew it, but he corrected himself lol!!
