Hi Jochem, it's Guilherme here from that 1999 gig in Paris. Just read the story of that day on reddit and our discussion with Chad in front of Elysée Montmartre, still can't believe I hadn't go to London. Should have believed Chad's word. Anyway... Great to read the story and watch Paridiso show. Hope to meet you soon pal. Cheers

The person who recorded this deserves a medal!
He was having so much fun just goofing around playing these songs. It’s so nice to see. Especially since he was in such a dark place just a few years earlier

Thank you for sharing this. I cried watching this. I discovered his music with the release of TRONWFTD, and it has been with me through everything since…through all of my hard times, and my good times. Watching this, I experienced all the feelings and emotions I’ve been through in the last 20+ years. Thank you John, if you see this.
john doesnt need autotune, just a guitar and his voice, he dont care the people, he is in his own world when he got a guitar

The autotune in the slaughter is cool though 😎
You can tell the charisma he has with his audience, love it.
He's just pure. If you consider a spectrum that separates music for commercial purposes and the music that is created because of the feeling it gives us... JF is on the good end. I am honored to share the same initials with this man.

Amazing! He was in such good spirit and taking requests..I feel like he always loved the smaller audiences... I Just discovered his music back from 2001, 2004 and i'm loving It. That's one of the beauties of music: it's timeless!! Thanks for sharing this!! 🥰
I'm excited Jochem! Never saw this footage
Thank you, this has made my day.
John playing new dawn fades is incredible! So good.
You a legend ! Unbeliaiveble
Wow, 20 years ago this year. I remember seeing clips of this show way back when.. it's so nice to finally see it in full-length. His music is just as beautiful now as it was back then. I was lucky enough to see Michael Rother when he did a show of his solo works in SF and John was there supporting him.. they played walk don't run for the encore, it was great.
I feel so happy to see so many Thank you over here~~for such great quality of this show I really must add another “ Thank you!!!”👍🏻

Can't remember what year but a couple years more recent I think, but in that Paradiso performance he snaps a string every couple of songs.. he was going hard then, I think he was also using slightly lighter strings.
