John Farnham - World Expo 88 - Concert Intro

On Monday 25 July, 1988 John Farnham performed his 'Age of Reason' concert LIVE on the World Expo 88 River Stage. It was broadcast Australia wide on Channel 7.
In the crowd are Home & Away the Early Years actors Nicolle Dickson and Alex Papps who were there filming a special part of Home & Away where John Farnham was a special guest star for 2 episodes.
This also includes the 1988 'Age of Reason' Coca-Cola commercial staring John Farnham.
This has been put on You Tube due to not being available on DVD. If it's a problem I will remove the clip.

Wow, I haven't seen that since it aired because my father wouldn't let me tape it (he was recording something else that night & believed it would be repeated, which it never was). I only ever had an audio tape of it which I made from the radio similcast. Thanks for uploading it.
Simulcast on 96FM in Perth back in the day.
Home And Away Stars doing the Intro for John Farnham AWESOME!!!
I have that concert on Betacam SP dubbed directly from the 1'' master. Didn't include this intro though. The only problem is I am here in the US, the tapes are back home in Australia.
Do you have the whole concert? I remember I use to have it on video all those years ago, but sadly it got taped over :(

Sorry I don't. The only Expo concerts I have are John Farnham and Young Talent Time.
I was there when he performed there, my family and I even meet him that night. But I don't remember because I was just a little baby. But still it was awesome. That old guy at 2:17 - 2:29 is the reason and cause of John Farnham loosing his awesome mullet. I hate that that old fart for it! Too bad he's already kicked the bucket.

For some reason they misspelled Nicole's surname; it was actually Dickson (not Dixon as per the caption at 2:39); ironic that "Home and Away" was broadcast on the same channel.

They also misspelled her first name. It is actually spelled Nicolle with 2 L's.
