That was awesome! It was a privilege to be at the concert that night. I have loved John for around 40 years. He is the BEST and I hope he continues to perform for years to come.

I remember the original broadcast. The actual concert was simulcast on Mix 94.5 and it was probably the last time that a FM station would do a simulcast because it’s kind of pointless with digital TV these days.

Pre - concert doco I remember watching this before the concert back in 2002 on TV Great upload 🤘🤙

Brandon Beard the tour began in 2002, but this concert was sometime in 2003.

Does anybody know why he wasn't going to tour anymore? I have been out of the country. Maybe he has explained it all. A link to him talking about it would be sweet.

brudzool According to John Farnham himself he was feeling the pressure to fill up the giant concert venues by himself anymore. His popularity never really actually descended in the end he still has a massive following.

​@@BrandonBeard So much exposure now via youtube channels - documentaries, life story from when he was about 18 in l967, behind the scenes of concert preparations and rehearsals, tv sitcom, stage musicals, full concerts, interviews, guesting on tv shows. The best videos are of John live - he is just pure gold. And now he us getting a lot of world exposure because of youtube Feb'24. UK. E❤
