This is our time and he presented the solution.

Nine separate paragraphs, pages of the speech, are missing from this video. Deleted? One of hundreds of famous lines that are cut from this video: "...as the Scriptures tell us, No man who puts his hands to the plow and looks back is fit for the Kingdom of Heaven." deleted...why? by who? The speech document is still available on Kennedy's Library website. Maybe not for long. Someone is deleting history very methodically. When you read the actual speech, you see that specific sections are deliberately removed for clear reasons. Someone doesn't want us to remember the peace Kennedy was cultivating.

They edited out what made them scared. The very word “secrecy” is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths and to secret proceedings. We decided long ago that the dangers of excessive and unwarranted concealment of pertinent facts far outweighed the dangers which are cited to justify it. Even today, there is little value in opposing the threat of a closed society by imitating its arbitrary restrictions. Even today, there is little value in insuring the survival of our nation if our traditions do not survive with it. And there is very grave danger that an announced need for increased security will be seized upon by those anxious to expand its meaning to the very limits of official censorship and concealment. Today no war has been declared-and however fierce the struggle may be, it may never be declared in the traditional fashion. Our way of life is under attack. Those who make themselves our enemy are advancing around the globe. The survival of our friends is in danger. And yet no war has been declared, no borders have been crossed by marching troops, no missiles have been fired.

Where's the complete speech? There's significant chunks missing, which I assume is a result of film being changed in the camera live?

All these and other new steps toward peaceful cooperation may be possible. Most of them will require on our part full consultation with our allies--for their interests are as much involved as our own, and we will not make an agreement at their expense. Most of them will require long and careful negotiation. And most of them will require a new approach to the cold war--a desire not to "bury" one's adversary, but to compete in a host of peaceful arenas, in ideas, in production, and ultimately in service to all mankind. The contest will continue--the contest between those who see a monolithic world and those who believe in diversity--but it should be a contest in leadership and responsibility instead of destruction, a contest in achievement instead of intimidation. Speaking for the United States of America, I welcome such a contest. For we believe that truth is stronger than error- ..."

**SIGH** If this wasn't the "United Nations" channel I would be surprised about the obvious cutting out of sections of the speech.
