This John Barry film music is incredibly lush and peaceful. It successfully creates mental images of America's sweeping mid-west pastoral landscapes. I like his warm use of strings and the sustained horns that give body to the music. Because I've transcribed this soundtrack by ear, it's truly not an exact representation of the original film score. Hopefully, it's pretty close.
