Thanks for the video. I’ve been doing snow removal for 35 years. I would have never bought a tractor like that to remove snow from a driveway like that. The reason being is that I wouldn’t think about driving back up the driveway with my plow up. To me that would seem like a waist of time. But the kid waisted no time trying to move snow up hill. Pushing the snow down hill is 99.9% easier than trying to push it up hill. Thanks

We actually didn't buy the tractor the sole purpose of plowing snow. Since we have a steep hill to mow, I really like the Deere X series because it is 4WD and has a low center of gravity. There are a lot of tractors that can plow snow, not may can mow a hillside safely..

I dont use chains either. I love the sliding lol. I have them for my trailer so i can pull a few snow blowers around town aswell as me plowing there drive way.

I had a plow for my tractor, but you have a lot of snow you will run out of room to put. I went to the 42" snow blower and much better. However I like the sloop on your drive

Gravity does a pretty nice job.

no chains then load rear tires with rim hard and sure case weights ,about 6 of them.

Better than your case these are 4wd and heavier

Wheel weights and chains on the rear would make a big difference even with four wheel drive!

That boy is living the dream. Dad needs to get him some chains though. Gotta be able to push up and down. Fuel saved will pay for the chains. Get rubber chains so they don't scratch up your pavement.

It's a K92 so this is not a problem for it at all.

Need tire chains, even if it has 4X4

Don't ya love it when people spend their life plowing down hill instead of setting it up to plow snow (weights & chains). Or they give up and buy a snow blower and it takes 3x as long to do the driveway

he couldnt plow back up the boy has no weight on the rear

C'mon. If you can afford an X series, you can afford the blower to go with it. Buying a plow for a tractor like that is rediculous.

Actually a blade is much better in snow < 6 in. Much faster and easier.

We rarely get a snow like this in southern Ohio. Most years we get 1-3 snow events in the 1-3” range, so a snowthrower is not as practical as a blade. If we lived in northern Ohio where they get “lake effect” snow from Lake Erie, we would surely have a snowthrower and cab
