John Deere HX15 Shredder
This video showcases a John Deere HX15 Batwing 15' rotary cutter (shredder) in action on a piece of leased land that we have. We are trying to get this land ready for grazing next summer. We wanted to cut down the weeds and allow them to decompose over the winter adding nutrients back to the soil. Jon Stevens Maple Grove Farms - We will drag a harrow over it In The spring to break the soil up and allow water to penetrate the surface. We might even drill it with Bermuda seeds.

Bermuda grass? What is that like? Never seen it.
Looks good. Those John Deere HX mowers are outstanding tools. We have an HX20 that has mowed wheat stubble and CRP ground both for us and as a custom unit. Many thousands of acres and still mowing strong.
