Turn the switch off so you don’t burn up the coils

Did, I always let CE run out of gas before turning switch off!

Thanks, the car is a '68 chevelle. With a 496 stroker and procharger.

That's a nice 70 but you gotta let the pony motor warm up for a few minutes before you crank it or you will wear it out. They cost as much as the whole tractor to rebuild. Also, don't move the throttle before it gets oil pressure because it will hydrolock. Otherwise you have a nice machine. Did I see a little 208 garden tractor in the back corner?

Had the CE running prior for some carb adjustments. Hard one handed and it's a '78 208, #94 which was also bought in '94. Thanks
