Good evening everyone! This evening I finally bring you the KING of the F.lli Pinton farm, the beautiful JOHN DEERE 6920S! In this video we see him busy during a grubbing session.
After the Favorit 926 in plowing, the F.lli Pinton company also offers us this beautiful video, perhaps among the best I've ever done! As already mentioned, I bring you the gem of the company, and it seems to me therefore necessary to describe in a few lines the main features of this wonderful Deer!
The 6920s was one of the many icons of the American John Deere company. Belonging to the 6020 series, its production began in 2001 and ended in 2006 (in the specific case of 2005), and it was a great success right away! Its generous John Deere Power Tech 6-cylinder 6.9L water-cooled turbo diesel engine delivers an impressive 178 hp / 132.7 kW! The "S" version differs from the normal 6920 only because of a slight surplus of performance, around 18 CV. The tractor of this video adopts an IVT AutoPowr transmission (partial PowerShift) with an electro-hydraulic steering wheel shuttle. Furthermore like all John Deere's 6020 series, it is equipped as standard with TLS (Triple Linkage Suspension), HMS (Headland Management System) and cruise control. In the video, our 69 is not ballasted before, but would be prepared with the coupling for the ballast weights (the front lift for the 6020 series was optional). In addition, the vehicle is prepared for Trimble satellite, which is not used in the video, but which is used in other processes that require a greater degree of precision.
The equipment is carried on the rear and would be specifically a grubber-disc, or a combination of a front disc breaker and a rear-mounted grubber that can be closed for road transport. The working width of the front disc, marked Pastò, is 3.00 m, and that of the rear weeder by 11 anchors of 3.60 m. The overall working depth is between 30 and 40 cm. The working speed is between 8 km / h and 13km / h and the value of nominal revolutions around 1790 n / min, which allow to work almost 4 hectares / h.
Filming took place late in the morning. The soil on which our deer is working is a medium-textured soil, very clayey and with good water resistance in periods of drought, it was then fertilized in the previous winter period, consistently with sewage.
