So here in the states, the 55-series tractors had the exhaust stack mounted in the center of the hood. The 60-series moved the exhaust pipe to the corner of the cab, leaving the hood slick. Apparently, the European market tractors were different.

My dad had a 4055 and I think it had the exhaust on the bonet but he sold it!😭😭

The 60 series were sold as 55's in Europe, they introduced the updates but never changed the model number to 60. So early European 55's have the stack on the hood just like the American ones :)

'89 -'91 models were built. I have a '92 4560,I don't think any US market 55 series had the new style exhaust on the corner of the cab unless a few of the very last ones made.
