This is a first for my John Deere 410 backhoe. She has no power. What could it be? Check out the problem!

Great video Thankyou for this, especially as I just bought an older JD 410 with very little power from the transmission. I hope that will fix my problem also.

You should drain the fuel tank too. Probably lots of water and stuff that will contaminate your filter and lines again soon
@Aaronzap15

I did drain the fuel after I did the video and not too many contaminants which I was surprised. I strained the fuel little bit of slime but after I had the injector pump rebuilt never had a problem since. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Hey Aaron how does that 2wd Deere do in the mud and difficult terrain? I wanted to know just how much you need 4wd

I had to clean the return line multiple times to work properly. Actually just did it again the other day. I used a little pick and carb spray to clean the little glass ball. Any debris and it won’t run right

My issue is hydraulic warning light intermittent when operating the buckets. Only full open on levers, the light comes on. I'm getting ready to change out all the oil/filters and screen cleanse. $$ It looks like you found your fuel return to be your issue? Good job. Stay safe.

Ya sounds like you have dirty hydro fluid. I thought that at first but thankfully I tried cleaning the return line and it was the fix. Seems like every month I have to clean it. I’m a weekend warrior so it’s ok

Ok so what I did was remove the return line from the pump and there was what I think is a check valve in line. There is a little glass ball inside that was clogged with gunk and I’m not sure how it got there. I used carb spray and a little pick to get it cleaned out so it can move freely. Put it back together and it worked as normal again. Hope it helps

what did you find in the return line

I found black gunk trapped inside of what I think is a check valve. The debris was preventing this little glass ball to move freely. So I sprayed and picked it out till it was clean. Then I was back in business

This is andrew aka andy and I'm still trying to searching for another backhoe for our property but I'm unable to finding the right sized backhoe for our property but I'm unsuccessful with finding the same identical backhoe as yours. So anyways could you'd please seeing if you're able to please giving me the serial number of your backhoe and the model number of it

It’s an 83’ the numbers are worn off. There are many the same size but might not have the jaw bucket attachment

Taking the supply line off and bleeding it there is unnecessary. You got more air in there taking it apart then you did leaving it alone. Just bleed it at the filter and done

It’s actually the return line. There is a check valve which gets clogged because of a seal failure in the injection pump

@@Aaronzap15 no I'm talking about in the beginning when you change the filter. You only need to crack the bolt at the top of the filter housing and pump the air out there
