You said that to check it out from the opening at the bottom I do have mine open and the pto stuck not moving at all what do I need to look for to justify splitting. I am sorry but I own one for over 20 years and never needed the pto for my small farm but using the scraper. now “my wife” need few spaces extra for flowers and sunflower beds

So when you use the lever nothing happens or it stalls the tractor

You had to split it to fix it so no harm done. I would have removed cover underneath n checked it out. I made my own tractor stands n push the back end because I don't want front end to fall over things happen. I also worked midnight's n when I got tired it was time to go to sleephead land. Hope you enjoyed your rest

@@andrewssoundsofthepast110 I have a question on my 1972 3020 I’ve noticed in gears 5 thur 8 very slow take off compared to what it used to be prior to this I’ve had a noise from that area And I haven’t had a problem with it the 7 years I’ve owned it what do I need to look for to figure out is it a clutch problem or something else ?

@@andrewssoundsofthepast110 yes it’s a syncro its like it really sluggish on take off bearly wants to move than after 5 seconds it’s fine ..and going up a small hill it gets sluggish and starts to slow down with high rpm’s gears 1-4 seem ok only does it 5 and above
