He actually played the solo bit in the 1981 Montreal so, but it was in the background of Brian May's guitar works. Still a great piece tho

Great video of John Deacon doing what he does best on that bass. My favourite Queen song! The drums and the bass give a solid powerful foundation for the singer and the guitar solos. Without the bass, the sound would be a bit "thin".
