John's looking handsome in his non prescription, moral boosting glasses
Lovely stuff.

“On time” is actually turning up early, whereas “late” is anything from on time to a couple of minutes late. More than two minutes late and you’re “really late”. If you miss out (perhaps incurring cost) as a result of being really late, it’s your stupid fault. Woe betide anyone who turns up really late and causes their friends to miss out (as a result of their waiting around) or incur unnecessary cost. Their only salvation is people turning up later than them. The stakes aren’t often high. A fringe benefit of turning up in good time is that you are likely to have perspired less by time of arrival as a result of not having been frantically doing everything at the last minute. Common sense really. And this is coming from a serial procrastinator. ✌🏻
John needs to watch out- my mother in law got her driver’s licence yanked partially because she showed up to her gerontology appointment an hour ahead of time.
Oh… the girlfriend sounds like my ADHD self 😂😂
