John Conlee performs "Rose Colored Glasses" at the Farm Aid concert in Louisville, Kentucky on October 1st, 1995. Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers. Dave Matthews joined Farm Aid's board of directors in 2001.

I miss all of the country music singers from the 70s and 80s
I grew up on this music they don't makem like this anymore.
the little kid was about the same age as my son, and now my son proudly stands over a 600 acre peanut farm here in Texas... it's been in the family since 1902. John Conlee will definately have a place in heaven always

I sat next to John Conlee Jr. There in 10th grade science class. I was telling my wife about all the country singers kids I went to school with in Hendersonville Tennessee and then found this cool video! Last I heard of John Jr. he was a United States Marine. Obviously raised right. Great song.

His son grew up and served in the Marine Corps, going to both Afghanistan and Iraq, and receiving a purple heart for shrapnel wounds received during an IED explosion.
One of the most heartwarming performances ever.

I was there for this and I remember when John and his son sang this song. It was a hot day here in Kentucky and I felt so lucky to see all of these artists performing at the same time.

I have this 1995 Harley Davidson 883 DLX . It's such a pretty machine. But now that I'm disabled I've had so-called friend mis use & abuse it. It really pisses me off... He said he was going to take care of it like it was his own. Now I' 500$ in the hole in part's alone not to mention the cost of labor !!!
