Good down to earth fella. Fantastic drummer. Quo werent ever the same after John and Alan went

God God, why throw all that stuff into the crusher? Especially the records!!

i would have brought some of the stuff they chucked out!!!

John Coughlan is still playing Drums today in his own band called John Coughlan's Quo, my Husband and I have seen them a few times, superb band. Hoping to see them again on February 20th at The Brook in Southampton. The two guitarists in the band are formerly from the band called Predatür.

He was absolutely brilliant at A New Day Festival last year.

To Dale Mack, the series isn't available anywhere other than the occasional episode on KZread. I really enjoyed this series too, and wish I could see more episodes.

John is a good egg . KEEP ON ROCKIN 👍

Is this entire series available somewhere? I watched it years ago and loved it but cannot find it on DVD anywhere. Perhaps from Britain?

When coghlan went it was basically over for quo.. The old line up was the best.. I know they had a crack as the "frantic4" which was a blast from the past.. But once you change a line up its never quite the same.. Imagine the beatles dumping ringo in there heyday🤔

Dammit, Spud...should have at least kept the vinyl :-)

Over consumption, especially of this type, is leading to an environmental catastrophe for our planet. This couple should ‘make amends’ by donating to environmental causes, especially the conservation of natural flora and fauna. Most of us have been guilty. We should all do it. Or volunteer a small amount of our time to cleaning up our local environment.

How very sad that John has stooped so low and basically aired his dirty laundry. Rossi you should apologise publicly.

Excuse me he is having a clear out and for your information its his Wife who arranged this, she is also the main hoarder. He is just doing what we all do from time to time, the only difference is he is famous, why should he apologise to oinks like you for making it to the top through hard work, dedication and his passion for music?

Fair point, but I think it is his last "claim to fame" and he is putting himself "out there" to remnd people who he was and what he was a point of. Would you say the same if he was say Roger Moore or Barrack Obama? It's just my opinion that is all.

+RockingRob67 - John is not trying to hang onto his earlier fame, he is just clearing out his small cottage, which if you watch the video was getting to the point where there was not even enough room for two people to live comfortably because of all the personal belongings and other memorabilia that had been collected over the years. His Wife as I stated is the main collector here, in truth its her who does not want to let go of her glitzy past, not John. He actually walked out on his life of fame back around the early 80's when he kicked his Drum kit over and stormed out of the Studio during a rehearsal session with the band. He was not happy with the direction in which the music was heading, it was becoming very commercial, singles orientated. He did not want to go down that route as he preferred their earlier blues/rock style, which I also prefer. My favourite album is Pile Driver, and it represents the Status Quo that most people love.

i know what you are saying and as I say, fair point. I have had clearances over the years and it is very hard to let go. I know all of Quo's history as I am a fan from the age of 14 and I still am a fan :-)
