I take a look at John Carpenter's "Assault on Precinct 13," and its eclectic genre influences.
Жүктеу.....

Fantastic review, I have been obsessed with this movie since I first saw it. Spreading the word especially to people who love John Carpenter, it flies under the radar cause it's so grounded like this could happen to anyone. No supernatural killers or Sci-Fi here. Just a crazy scary night.

Thank you! And totally, the grounded quality sets it apart from many of his later works, but that absolutely works for the setup and situation

That's sick, is there a scene where you can point them out?

The first time watched this film I found it decent, but slight. This was in my "teen discovering his love of film" phase though. Over the years I have come to rank it near the top of my Carpenter list. And as a huge Carpenter fanboy and nerd, that's saying something. It's lean, economical, atmospheric, and scary - a perfect neo-western.

I hate how Ghosts of Mars is almost a remake of this movie (at least in the set up), if we want talk about the exact different side of quality

Huh. It feels more like a zombie movie than a western to me. The criminal element seems like mindless zombies who don't care about dying.
