John Carpenter is such a badass artist. Not only directed some amazing timeless movies but also wrote great scores for them as well. F#$ken awesome he put on a show playing them live!

I couldn't agree more. I resorted to copying the into and outro from a VHS Tape to have proof.

Great movie, Amazing theme song.

This is one of my favorite films of all time, I had no idea how much cool imagery was in it until seeing that background. You just take everything in the story for granted when it's on screen.

When he performed this in NYC, it was at the Playstation Theater, which had formerly been the cavernous movie palace Loew's Astor Plaza, where I had seen this movie back in 1995!

I love the metal tune of this theme.

This is so freaking awesome.

I think I heard that Carpenter approached Metallica to do the soundtrack for In The Mouth of Madness and they either turned it down or wanted too much money. Parts of this makes me think of the better moments that band can pull off. I think what we end up getting is just fine....
