Their story feels like a uncompleted poem.... Sad but beautiful 💔 ✨

I love them. I was heartbroken when Mariko-sama died. I wish they live together happily in another universe.

So few love stories have been so beautifully written...

Through their emotions, the characters convey their emotions: sadness, happiness, a sense of powerlessness, and peace of mind. I have a fondness for the background music, it reminds me of the movie Arrive.

Thanks man for putting all these together to create a memory for lifetime. Their story is like a poem... Which leaves you in awe and wanting more and more to reach nowhere. Just to be in a journey so we can be together and experience each other's company till the last breath.

The real life John Blackthorne (William Adams) & Toda Mariko (Akechi Tama) that this was based on actually never even met.

@@shani3861 She married Buntaro but has never loved him the entire time they were married. That made him bitter and physically abused her. Every year she asks him permission to kill herself to join her family in death and he denies her. Even at the end when he finally allows it and wants to kill himself with her she says 'never in a millions years id rather live forever than die with you'. She never wanted that Toda name it was just a way for her father to protect her. Her final words were to say she is Akechia Mariko not Toda Mariko is her way os saying her family and Toda is not her family
