Nothing can top the sex-tacular Lena Horne version of this song, IMHO, but Barrowman is pretty awesome. And even though he butchered a few of the Italian words, major props to him for Bringing The Gay by singing the lyrics as "americano/italiano" -- i.e., instead of heterosexualizing it to "americano/italiana". Ms. Lena Horne sang it as "americana/italiano" -- perfectly appropriate, since she was a straight woman -- and she also knew how to pronounce "meglio"!

I love John Barrowman, but this song was not made for his voice. And I can't believe, with all of those people he had to work with, not one of them told him he was pronouncing that Italian phrase incorrectly.
