A fascinating interview! I had no idea of his family connections or the enormous range of his work. And I'd had cheerfully stopped my career at being able to name drop Philly Joe and Hank Mobley!

Brilliant interview Monk... Great anecdotes too but how does 74 year old John remember so many of the names from them halcyon years?
