John can play any style of music. His knowledge is incredible. One of the most versatile guitarist.
wow Nobody talking about the killer bassline and his tone and sheer perfect playing.
Not only does it sound great, but also everyone on that stage looks like they're having the time of their lives.

Holy shit this was actually surprising. He played it just like the studio version and even the guitar solo was on point. If MJ was still alive I would've liked to see John play with him for sure .

Johny has an ear for all good styles of music... swing ... flamenco... classic.... he is talented and skillfull.. i think he keeps a low profile also... a damn good musician....

Damn. I don't listen to very many rock guitar players anymore, but John 5 is pretty badass..
I love that John has the guts to play want he thinks is good, whether anyone else thinks it’s cool or not…he does 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
John's elaborate string work and Scott's rock solid rhythm... that's just it, man!
John 5 will play the sickest shit and not break a sweat. It's almost frustrating how effortlessly he can play anything. I'd bet my literal house that he could hold a full conversation while playing this or anything else.
I’ve seen many players try to play that EVH solo. John nailed it.

I read that John 5 makes it a point to play Motley Crüe solos just like they were originally recorded. And here he's playing, or trying to play, that beat it guitar solo exactly as Eddie Van Halen did on Michael Jackson's recording. I can't understand why any musician would want to play any solo by any musician note for note, like you're in your bedroom plan to the record. It's someone else's creative output; not theirs.

John 5 playing the vocal parts on the guitar with such ease and mostly without his right hand is simply incredible. I have been playing guitar since 1979 and I still cannot do that. I totally admire great guitarists like him.
When I've watched videos of him with other rock stars the way they look at him after he rocks the fuck out of his guitar sez it all really they all are gob smacked with how amazing he is at playing anything

I met John 5 at a Meshuggah concert but have never gotten to see him play live. Hope I get the chance to watch him shred one day 🤘🏽
