I teach children's Sunday School in a small rural church. I have K thru 3rd grade in my class. Right now I am teaching on the Fruit of the Spirit. The younger kids don't believe they are sinners. I realized they don't know what sin is. In early August I had a room full of angels, but sadly since starting this series they have been demonstrating the sinful nature. My prayer is by the time I finish the series, they have a better understanding of what sin is.

Thank you soooooo much to your teaching Pastor Paul. I happened to jump into your you tube account CCO. I started to watch and listen into your teachings in the book of Acts, since then even i am doing something i make sure that i listen and understand clearly about your teaching. And i am so much grateful that since I've listened to you the Holy Spirit have speak to me so many times..And i am in John 15 yesterday but i couldn't find it so i jumped into the next chapter which is John 16. I can only say Pastor Paul you are filled of the Holy Spirit while you were in your teachings sending us the messages of the word of God..My name is Ditas from the Philippines 56 years old and a mother of 4 adult children with 6 grandchildren. I thought it was just me that wanted to hear him praying.😊 I believe it could be that I should pray for more specifics situations in my life and others around me. I do get sad when I hear the ending music though, but then I realized I have sermons in his website that I won’t have time in the day to listen to. I love pastor Paul preaching so much that my husband thought to take me to Ontario, Oregon to visit the church for our anniversary.😂

Jesus is God

12:54 we cannot grow fruit if we are not obedient to and communicating with the Holy Spirit. If Jesus is the Vine, the Spirit is the nutrients from the the Father, the Root in which grows in us fruit.

Surely the Holy Spirit makes us renew our minds, do we renew our minds and at time have fruit by not trying not to do bad in hard situations? You say abiding is just thinking about what Christ has done, don't dwell if you keep sinning coz its not about you. And sure their a references to that like though just slipped my mind but when we fall short its naturally frustrating. But I sure hope it is just about keeping faith and focus on our Lord because I don't want to lose my faith and be a chopped branch and return to the world of lustful sin. Though sin lurks everywhere and it aint easy when we are asked even to hold our thoughts captive! My mind can drift and then get nightmares a lot about sin, judgments etc... hard to tell if dreams are from God or the devil at times. One dream said I was Gosham and I had to look up the place, it was a land of provision but it was in Egypt and the true vine came out of Egypt. The Christian walk is not easy but I will keep seeking the truth of our Lord and great God
