Beautifull Lied. But I think the tempo is too fast. Brahms write Langsam in 4/4 not in 2/2. I think that this song must be performed in a slow and calm tempo. The song evokes the feelings we have in a peacefull summer evening. Just take a look at the lyrics: "Dämmernd liegt der Sommerabend","An dem Bache zirp Grille...", "und der Wanderer hört ein Plätschern und ein Atmen in der Stille." The poem suggest stillness rather than movement.
