Agree man. I'm a white and just want to say most of us aren't even interested whether someone is black or not, and for some reason lots of people think that us Whites don't want blacks in South africa to do well. But that doesn't make sense, for instance the majority of the country is black and the only way that things will improve is through black achievement. Our economy then grows. Our money is worth more, everyone wins when blacks are generating wealth. However government has crippled blacks in this country, they pretend to be the saviours of black people and then at every turn screw them over, pocketing money. People need to work for themselves, keep their wealth and government should take their greedy hands out of the pockets of everyone. Victim hood holds anyone back, whether you're black, white, purple etc. And this government tries to make blacks think that they need them. One of my greatest idols is Thomas Sowell, I think everyone needs to give that man a listen. He has so much wisdom, and he explains these types of problems and has solutions to them.

@mbavhi nema Calm down. What JW Films means is that IGNORANCE is ruining this country. Did you watch the video? Did Rupert say something that you disagreed with? I would like to know what that was because everything he said in this video is common sense. I personally know nothing about Rupert's past, I haven't researched it and it is beyond the point here. The point is that he is right in this video. South Africa as a country is in a crisis and if we don't do something about it, we are in for decades of suffering. When the IMF comes to bail a country out, it's nothing to celebrate about, believe me... This is not about race. Nobody said that 'black people in government are useless.' The "percentage of people that are running this country into the ground" are the ignorants, the poorly informed, the easily mislead. That 'percentage' includes people of all races and all walks if life. As for the EFF is coming: Well that would be a disaster. When was the last time that nationalization and leftist politics succeeded? Take your time, think very hard and let me know when you have an answer. Maybe post the question on Quora... www.quora.com/

You are right Big Black. We are just making noise and learning nothing. We are not in the right direction. Whites who are powerful did a lot of self development programs since birth. I am saying this as a Scientist who understands what blacks are supposed to do which they haven't started, instead they are making noise and envying other people's wealth. Everything comes with a huge price tag. You pick (what you want) but pay the price. We feel sorry for black people who are still playing blame games and not doing anything about their lives. We are on earth to work for ourselves and not to want to depend through violence and noise like hyenas which prefers to follow the lions for food. Wealthy people worked hard for their wealth and I know a lot of small minds might think that they don't work. They do a lot of what is called Inner work which is more difficult by far from physical work. Lazy people wants others wealth and they always want shortcuts. No shorts in evolution. Most of hungry politicians always lie to black followers about how the systems work. They too don't know its been a secret for centuries. Yes, my brother you right. We must build our own wealth but we must also be ready to pay the price. That's how it works.

Black people are conditioned to want to listen to things which will make them emotional. We must change from this mindset if we want to learn. Some of the things we call racism is not. Firstly this interview shows exactly what's wrong with SA. Black people in this country think less of themselves but want others to think more of them. This country and I agree with Rupert is going no where fast until people can have an adult conversation openly and freely. We aren't children anymore you want change go get it. The internet is the future. I never understood why people complain about opportunities the internet is a giant sesspool of chances that reaches a global audience. This country always screams rainbow nation but in reality the most opportunities or all schemes are aimed at black people. What about Asians, colored people, Indians? They should go back to where they came? News flash most blacks aren't even natively from SA. To fix this country blacks should stop acting like victims of suffering and whites don't owe anyone anything. Everyone should be able to work together. People in power EFF etc are not good for the future of this country. In fact they take us a step back. Rupert made excellent points in that the education must change and that a logical conversation without hurting each other goes a long way to better understanding each other.

The world doesn't revolve around a single race or person but it's up to us as people to make it listen. You don't have to agree with what I said you just need to think about post apartheid as people (all races is there really growth?) no that's because no one wants to compromise for the growth of this country. You want opportunities? identify what you want to do and then outline possibilities on how to get it done. You want to feel like you matter? Change your thinking about yourself and start thinking you are bigger than your problems. The real problems this country is facing is not with each other but ourselves. We recognize the injustices done to us and want to fix them immediately before we actually get things that matter most done. Sometimes you need a, b and c but (b) is more important so( a) is put on hold. This is how we should learn to think as South Africans. Everyone has felt pain and injustice in their lives what matters is what you make of yourself after it all.

I want to talk about it. I want to learn your cuture, your languages and appreciate the differences that come from this. I have worked and been surrounded by extraordinary people of all different backrounds and its been an honour to bridge the race differnces and gaps but its also unfortunate that at times and in certain environments like politics I feel like I can't do this dispite being born a South African and then been made to feel like less of a child of our beautiful county for the race I was born to because of what members from my race did before I was even on this earth.

Some suddenly can't talk, some acknowledge that their family members or friends are racist and tend to distance themselves from them and some simply ignore it. I've been around white people for most of my life so I've seen how such issues are attended to.

To all my Kleva Blacks From 1871 to 1914, White settlers mined "the big hole" in Kimberly SA. In that period, about 14 million carats of diamonds were mined using Black Africans as cheap labour. Today, a one carat diamond is worth $16000 on average, which would make that entire stash of diamonds worth $224 billion as we speak...provided they all still exist. $224 bil...from a single mine. This mine was at some point run by the oppenheimers who are also considered #WMC and are deeply intertwined with the ruperts. None of these funds helped develop any African communities or lives. Black communities like Soweto remain impoverished, despite the colossal amount of talent wielded by their youth. Native South Africans( we, the blacks ) are still sardined on 5% of our own homeland even though the freedom charter claims and I quote: "South Africa land belongs to all who live in it" and you can still take a walk from Alexandra, one of the poorest communities you can ever find whose population is about 90% Black, to Sandton, The "richest square mile in Africa" owned majorly by the White settlers in South Africa. White Monopoly Capital exists, whether you choose to be "a victim" or not.

It's real easy. Just move to another country. Don't understand why people have such an affinity to some arbitrary piece of land. People need to realize that there are just as beautiful countries elsewhere that is not south africa, where you don't get constantly bombarded by 150+ race based laws, no BBBEE , no affirmative action, no corruption ,none of this overbearing incompetence. None of that. Put it like this you will pay less in tax, have less crime, no racism, better pay, more money at the end of the month ,better quality of living, better opportunities ect ,just by doing a single thing and that is to just move to another country. Why help those that mistreat you?

I don't feel like step 1 is even possible. until you can try to hear the other side, empathise and try to put yourself in someone else's shoes, it will always be a case of us and them. everything down to how "loud" we speak will urk you. not everything requires an answer. its not "fixable" overnight. If we dedicated those 20 years to understand each other, we would be further. you cannot treat what you don't know. everyone needs to be heard.
