Manowar and Rotting Christ will return to Release Athens on Wednesday, June 22nd 2022! Manowar will present “The Revenge of Odysseus”inspired by Homer’s epic poemand is the sequel of the classic “Achilles, Agony and Ecstasy in Eight Parts”, released 30 years ago. The new song was recorded in Greece with two great local actors, Kostas and Konstantinos Kazakos, narrating the dialogue between Odysseus and his son Telemachus. To honor Homer’spoem, they had Sakis Tolis of Rotting Christ, translate the English lyrics to ancient Greek and involve to the whole writing process. The “Crushing The Enemies of Metal” anniversary tour will celebrate over 40 years of the band’s history focus in six iconic releases: 40th Anniversary of Battle Hymns 35th Anniversary of Fighting The World 30th Anniversary of The Triumph Of Steel 20th Anniversary of Warriors Of The World 15th Anniversary of Gods Of War 10th Anniversary of The Lord Of Steel

So many Masters in one place! I can't wait to hear what Manowar cooks up with these amazing Greek collaborators!
