Matt was really talented at having to intentionally act badly during Joey's auditions or cheesy TV shows. They were always a riot to watch.

Out of all the Friends actors/ actresses I always felt like LeBlanc’s acting was the most naturally convincing in terms of us forgetting that he’s acting, if that makes sense. Though for me Schwimmer prob had the best performances, Joey was always consistently good

I find his portrayal of a cab driver very convincing, his posture, the facial expression, the wobbling, all I see is a cab driver! 😂

Joey was the one who struggled the most, both in relationship & profession. Joey is the epitome of Gen Z.

I know it’s a comedy but how the hell did he get successful doing this? They literally make a joke about how bad he is at acting and remembering lines

@@marieburton4714Yes, but he got it by sleeping with the casting director 😂 I don't think he was meant to be a terrible actor, but you know, he was also... dumb. Plus, in this scene, I think he was meant to lack confidence, because it had been so long since he had success. Confidence can make a huge difference.

@@monmothma3358 Ah yes, you're right, I forgot he got that role by sleeping with the casting director! But still, he had a lot of fans, he was interviewd because of his nomination for a 'soapy' or something like that? And the role in the movie featuring Charlton Heston. I think he was the typical C-actor, having just enough success every once in a while to let him believe he could make it. But his confidence here was at a low point indeed.

No he did good when he was in the right environment. I mean they wrote back on Days and he was on a other soap in Joey so he was a good soap actor
